Turkish hot sauce from baked vegetables (for cereals and flat cakes)
I serve this sauce with lavash and bulgur. The universal vegetable sauce is made from baked vegetables without adding oil, the pungency can be adjusted to suit your taste. It is served both hot and cold, so it is very convenient to stock up on such an addition.
Ingredients
- eggplant 1 pc.
- tomatoes 2 pcs.
- red sweet pepper 2 pcs.
- garlic, head 1 pc.
- hot red pepper 1 pinch (s)
- greens
- oregano 1/2 tsp.
- pomegranate juice 50 ml
- basil 1 tsp
- smoked paprika 1/2 tsp
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wrap each vegetable individually in foil. At the head of garlic, first cut off the top like for pilaf. Bake vegetables until tender at 200 C (about 20 minutes), remove the garlic after 10 minutes.
