Avocado dip with blue cheese
Creamy avocado dip with blue cheese is a very delicate and light snack. It can be served both with bread sticks and with vegetables.
Ingredients
- 150 g blue cheese
- 2-3 st. l. cream with a fat content of at least 30%
- 1 shallot
- 2 avocados
- 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice
- a pinch of nutmeg
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- fresh vegetables (carrots, celery, cucumbers, bell peppers) or breadsticks to serve
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Mash the blue cheese with a fork and gradually add the cream. Chop the schallots finely and add to the cheese mixture.
Step 2
Sprinkle 2 avocado pulp with lemon juice. Mash with a fork and mix with cheese.
Step 3
Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve with breadsticks.
