Biscotti with raisins
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 80 g of sugar
- 240g wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150g raisins

Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk the whites and sugar into a thick, glossy meringue.
Step 2
Add yolks, flour sifted with baking powder, raisins to the whites. Mix well.
Step 3
Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Spoon the dough in a log shape, about 5 cm thick, flatten.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
Step 5
Bake the cookies for 30 minutes, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and cool for 5-10 minutes. Slice diagonally to 1.5 cm thick. Place on a baking sheet, cut side down and put back in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
