Rose petal jam
Ingredients
- water 125 ml
- sugar 250 g
- citric acid 1/4 tsp
- rose petals 20 g
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
This recipe is very convenient if you do not have a rose garden and do not collect pounds of petals. 20 g of petals is 4-6 peduncles, depending on the variety of roses. Of course, it is assumed that the flowers are from their own garden, and not purchased, which are stuffed with chemicals.
Step 2
Remove the petals from the peduncle.
Step 3
Trim the rough white ends with scissors. Also remove the faded edges, if there are damaged parts. Rinse the petals by immersing them in a container of water, then put them on a towel.
Step 4
On autumn or winter days, it is so nice to open a jar of such jam and enjoy the taste and aroma of flowers, remembering the summer!
